On Wednesday, Nov. 30, the Association will proudly partner with the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum to host the Austin launch of the Texas Almanac 2012–2013 at the Museum Store Holiday Sale Member Preview.

Exclusively for Museum members, this annual event brings together Texas-themed merchandise, delicious food and wine, and vendors from around the state. As the new edition of the Texas Almanac is hailed, you can have it signed by the editors, and by Joe Nick Patoski and Mike Cox, who authored articles in the new Almanac.

The Museum invites TSHA members to join now and, in addition to many benefits, you will be invited to attend the Members-Only Preview. As a special offer, those who join at the Family level ($60) will also receive a FREE copy of the Texas Almanac 2012–2013.

Launch Party 11-11-11 at Love & War in Texas

To celebrate the release of the Texas Almanac 2012–2013 print edition, the Texas State Historical Association is proud to partner with Love & War in Texas, a Texas-themed restaurant in Grapevine, to host a launch party for the new edition.

Love & War in Texas, Grapevine location

When: 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 11.
Where: Love & War in Texas, Outdoor Music Stage,
2505 E. Grapevine Mills Circle, Grapevine, TX  76051.
Why: To celebrate the Texas Almanac's 66th edition.

The event is open to the public, and attendees can:
    • Purchase a copy of the new Texas Almanac, signed by the editors, Elizabeth Cruce Alvarez and Robert Plocheck, and cover artist Lamberto Alvarez.
    • Win a limited-edition Willie Nelson fine art print based on the cover artwork in a $1 raffle.
    • Participate in a silent auction of Texas-themed items.
