Amigo
Amigo was a railroad community seven miles northeast of Tyler and just south of Winona on the St. Louis Southwestern Railway in eastern Smith County. In 1910 one store and a population of twenty-five were reported there; in 1940 two businesses and a population of forty were reported. Maps of 1947 indicated only a service station. The community was no longer listed on government survey maps by the 1960s.
