Bethlehem
Bethlehem was three miles north of Rockdale in central Milam County. It became a voting precinct in 1880. The settlement, which was named for the biblical city, had a one-teacher school with forty-two students in 1903. The school was consolidated with the Rockdale Independent School District in 1954. No evidence of the community appeared on 1988 county highway maps.
