Boise
Boise is on the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad just south of Interstate Highway 40, twenty miles west of Adrian in southwestern Oldham County. It emerged as a shipping point for area ranchers and farmers, and mail was routed through Adrian. The depot was used until the 1980s, when the Rock Island discontinued its services in the Panhandle.
