Broadway Junction

Broadway Junction is at the intersection of Farm Road 1184 and State Highway 24, seven miles south of Paris in south central Lamar County. The settlement developed in the twentieth century with the road systems in the area and was probably named for its proximity to the community of Broadway. The 1936 county highway map shows it as an unidentified cluster of dwellings with two businesses. In 1983 Broadway Junction had a school, a cemetery, and three businesses.
