Clear Creek

Clear Creek was near the site of present Tool, twelve miles northwest of Athens in northwestern Henderson County. The site was settled before 1869, and at one time a church and a school were in the area. After World War II most of the residents left, and by the early 1990s only a few scattered houses remained.
