Cool
Cool is a small incorporated town on U.S. Highway 180 eleven miles west of Weatherford in western Parker County. Cool was incorporated after 1960 and was first shown on county maps in the mid-1960s. By 1969 it had an estimated population of 506. In 1970 the census reported only 21 people living in Cool, but by 1978 its population was estimated at 253. The census reported 202 people in Cool in 1980 and 214 in 1990. The population dropped to 162 in 2000.
