Creamer
Creamer, about six miles east of Comanche in Comanche County, was founded around 1910 and named for Jasper Creamer, who built its first store. The community's pioneer settlers included the Fowlers, Sligers, Burks, and Thomases. After 1910 the community developed quickly, and by 1933 it reported a population of 100 and one business. But the settlement declined rapidly after 1945, when its population was reported as forty. By the late 1950s Creamer was gone.
