Crooked Creek

Crooked Creek, a farming community eight miles north of Canton in north central Van Zandt County, was originally settled on Crooked Creek and had a school by 1890. In 1936 the settlement had a school, two churches, and scattered dwellings, but by the 1980s it was no longer shown on the county highway map.
