Crunk's Lake

Crunk's (Krunk's) Lake, on the boundary between Lee and Burleson counties two miles east of Dime Box, was named for Nicholas S. Crunk, a participant in the battle of San Jacinto, who is buried nearby. In the 1940s it was a resort for picnics and fishing parties.
