Dale Crest
Dale Crest is between Farm Roads 857 and 1255 southeast of Grand Saline in extreme eastern Van Zandt County. It had likely developed by 1900 and may have taken its name from local resident Lemuel Dale or the Reverend George Dale, a Baptist minister. By the 1980s most residents had moved away, and state highway maps showed only a single church remaining at the townsite.
