Dorman
Dorman was on Farm Road 102 and the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway two miles south of Egypt and eight miles north of Wharton in northeastern Wharton County. The 1936 county highway map showed a school, a church, and scattered dwellings near the townsite. In 1992 the railroad track, ties, and gravel bed were removed and the right-of-way returned to the contingent landowner.
