Elm Grove
Elm Grove, six miles northeast of Rusk on State Highway 110 in east central Cherokee County, was established before 1900. In the mid-1930s the community had several stores, three churches, a school, and a number of houses. Many of the residents subsequently left the area, but in the late 1980s the school, two stores, and three churches still remained. In 2000 the population was fifty.
