Hill City
Hill City is on Farm Road 56 in a hilly area twelve miles southwest of Granbury in extreme southern Hood County. It had a population of sixty-five and one business by the mid-1930s. Its population fell to twenty-five by the late 1950s and was seventy-five during the late 1960s, when it was last reported. By the early 1980s the site had only a church and a few homes.
