Lakewood Village
Lakewood Village is located on Lewisville Lake about a mile south of Farm Road 720 and eleven miles southeast of Denton in southeastern Denton County. This lakeshore community probably began sometime in the 1970s and incorporated by 1980 with a population of 165. In 2000 the population was 342.
