Lauback
Lauback, also known as Laubach, is a tiny rural community located east of State Highway 123 about three miles north of Seguin in central Guadalupe County. The farming settlement existed in the early 1900s, and an item in the Seguin Enterprise mentioned the burning of the Laubach School in 1924. Highway maps in the 1930s showed dwellings in the area. No population figures were available until 1990, when the census reported thirteen residents. In 2000 the population was twenty.
