Liberty Hill
Liberty Hill is on Farm Road 3016 nineteen miles northeast of Crockett in northeastern Houston County. The site was probably settled around the time of the Civil War. In the 1930s the community had a church and a number of houses; children attended school in nearby Weches. After World War II many of the residents moved away, and in the early 1990s only the church and a few scattered houses remained.
