Little York

Little York, now a northern suburb of the Houston metroplex, was originally a small community near Hall's Bayou and east of U.S. Highway 75 in central Harris County. The 1936 county highway map showed a school, a tourist camp, and a cemetery at the townsite. At one time Little York had several Japanese residents, but by 1933 its total population numbered only ten; thereafter no population figures were available. Little York Hospital remained in the area in 1991.
