In honor and appreciation for my parents Nadine A. McCurly and Charles F. Haseloff and grandparents Talley E. and Riley McCurly and Clara and Otto Haseloff as well as aunts and uncles and their neighbors from Margaret during the 1945 to 1955 years. I remember the black clay mud, the sandy river bottoms, the rail cars, cotton gin, farms, chickens, cattle, heat, cotton, watermelon, yellow jackets, old dogs, free roaming for kids, swimming holes and the old grocery store, elevator, and churches. Thanks to all for the culture and lessons learned.
