Minear

Neville was on the Galveston, Harrisburg, and San Antonio Railway in Gonzales County. By 1890 the town had secured a post office. In 1892 P. N. Minear served as postmaster and ran a general store that served the needs of Neville's fourteen inhabitants. In 1896 Minear still ran his store, but that year saw the closing of the post office. Thereafter, population figures became unavailable, and in 1936 Neville did not appear on the county map.
