Oakton

Oakton was three miles northeast of Arnett in northwestern Coryell County. At one time it had a church, a school, and several residences. In 1904 the school had fifty-five students and one teacher, but by the 1950s it had been consolidated with the Levita school district. No population estimates for Oakton were available, and no evidence of the community appeared on county highway maps in the 1980s.
