Old Midway

Old Midway is a tiny rural community located about seven miles northeast of Centerville in north central Leon County. The settlement may have begun by the early 1900s under the name Midway. Highway maps of the 1930s show the locale of Midway, with scattered dwellings in the area, near the Buffalo Gas Field. By the 1970s the community was listed as Old Midway. No population estimates were available in 2000.
