Old Union
Old Union is just south of Farm Road 3371 and twelve miles southeast of Groesbeck in southeastern Limestone County. It was named for an early interdenominational church. Its population was estimated at 100 in the mid-1930s. A church, a sawmill, two other businesses, and several scattered houses marked the site in the late 1940s, by which time the number of residents had risen to 150. In the 1980s and early 1990s the community's population was reported at twenty-five, and only the church and cemetery were shown on maps of the area.
