Post Oak
Post Oak, at the junction of Farm roads 1280 and 3151, three miles west of Lovelady in south central Houston County, grew up around a school established in 1892. In the mid-1930s the community comprised a store, a school, and a number of houses. The school later closed, and by the mid-1960s the settlement was no longer shown on highway maps.
