Schermersville
Schermersville was on U.S. Highway 90 and Salatrillo Creek, sixteen miles northeast of downtown San Antonio in eastern Bexar County. The community, evidently named for an early settler, was the site of four businesses and a number of houses in the mid-1930s. Children attended the nearby Salatrillo School. After World War II its businesses closed, and by the 1960s Schermersville was no longer shown on maps.
