Summerville

Summerville is a rural hamlet located off State Highway 97 and three miles south-southwest of Gonzales in central Gonzales County. The town existed during the second half of the twentieth century. A store and filling station operated for a time but closed in the 1950s. No population figures were available, and by 2000 Summerville, near the Guadalupe River, consisted of fewer than ten homes.
