Sun Oil Camp
Sun Oil Camp is about four miles southwest of San Isidro and a mile north of Farm Road 2294 in northeastern Starr County. The community, which derived its name from the Sun Oil field in which it was situated, comprised a group of buildings clustered next to a tank farm. From 1974 through the early 1990s it reported a population of 100.
