Sunset Heights
Sunset Heights, a residential suburb and retail center within the Houston metroplex, is east of U.S. Highway 75 and north of Houston Heights in central Harris County. The townsite was the terminus of a trolley line and was named for its location on the high land west of Houston proper. A post office operated from 1915 to 1951. After that the town was no longer shown on the county highway map.
