- I, Evelyn Tousha Killion, grew up right in the heart of Tivett, Texas. 1965-1994. During the flood of 1994 we moved to town. February 2022 brought my husband, Tim Killion, and I right back home. At which time we learned it’s real name is Tivett. We love this place and want to adopt for our own. I will say, growing here as a child was the best childhood in the world. Now we are raising our grandchildren here…they so far love it as well.
