Valley View
Valley View, ten miles northwest of New Braunfels in central Comal County, was established in 1922, when Robert Heimer leased land at the intersection of the New Braunfels-Blanco road and the Crane's Mill road for a garage, filling station, store, and residence. The Heimer Ranch Bowling Club was built in 1924. The community is devoted to farming and ranching, and area ranches are leased for the deer-hunting season.
