Pine Forest

Pine Forest is at the junction of Farm roads 105 and 1131, ten miles northeast of Beaumont in northwestern Orange County. Pine Forest was incorporated by a 74–13 margin in 1960, when the community had a population of 334. Ten years later it had 512 inhabitants, and by 1980 that figure had increased to 639. In 1990 the population was 709. The population dropped to 632 in 2000.
