Poolville
Poolville is at the junction of Farm roads 3107 and 920, eighteen miles northwest of Weatherford in northwest Parker County. It was established in the early 1880s and named for a large pool of water just east of the town. Postal service began in 1883. In 1920 the town's population was estimated at just over 500. After the Great Depression the population slowly declined. Poolville had 350 residents in 1950 and 230 in 1980 and 1990. By 2000 the population rose again reaching 520.
