Shockley
Shockley was on the Leon River in northern Hamilton County ten miles from Hamilton, from which it received mail. The community was named for A. P. Shockley, who settled in the area in 1876 and was county sheriff in 1892. In the late 1980s the community was no longer on highway maps.
