Boy
Boy, originally known as Japan, was on State Highway spur 494 and the Southern Pacific Railroad eighteen miles southeast of Conroe in southeastern Montgomery County. In 1979 the settlement consisted of a railroad station, a school, several churches, and numerous businesses. By that date, however, the community had been overtaken by suburban development between Porter and Humble, four miles to the south.
