Gorey

Gorey, twenty-nine miles northwest of Lampasas in northern Lampasas County, had a post office from October 1882 to February 1883. After this office was discontinued, the community received mail through Senterfitt until 1890 and then through Lometa. Gorey was not named on the 1939 county highway map.
