Lasana
Lasana is a colonia located off Farm Road 508 about five miles north of Harlingen in northern Cameron County. It is part of the Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District. The first population figures were available in 2000 when the census reported 135 residents. The word lasana means a “sort of paste fried in a pan.”
