Mayhill
Mayhill was on Mayhill Road within the present city limits of Denton, a mile south of Farm Road 426 and a mile north of the Missouri, Kansas and Texas line in central Denton County. The community first appears on a 1964 map of the county, which shows a community hall and several houses in the area. By then Mayhill was incorporated, though it was unincorporated by 1966, when it had a population of 150. The last of the Mayhill area was annexed to Denton by 1981. The population remained at 150 in 2000.
