Pettytown

Pettytown is a small rural community located four miles south of Red Rock in southwestern Bastrop County. In 1905 the Pettytown school had forty-two students and one teacher. The school was consolidated with the Red Rock district in 1949. Only the cemetery appeared on maps of the area in the 1980s.
