Posideon
Posideon is a community southwest of Palo Pinto on Eagle Creek off U.S. Highway 180 in southwestern Palo Pinto County. Maps of the 1940s show a small number of scattered residences and businesses. As late as the mid-1960s Posideon was listed as having one business, a population of nineteen, and no post office. Though no population figures were reported for the community in 1989, highway maps still listed it as Posideon.
