Slabtown

Auds Creek, also known as Odd's Creek, rises two miles east of Brookston and just south of the Missouri Pacific track in central Lamar County (33°37' N, 95°40' W) and runs south for thirteen miles to its mouth on the North Sulphur River at the Delta county line, two miles southeast of Gadston and just west of Slabtown (at 33°28' N, 95°33' W). It traverses an area of low-lying floodplains surfaced by sand and gravel that support water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses; the area floods several times a year.
