Terrysville
Terrysville (Terryville) was about two miles west of U.S. Highway 183 and nine miles south of Gonzales in east central Gonzales County. The dispersed rural community of black farmers had a church during the 1920s, though many area residents attended Mount Enon Baptist Church in Dement, about four miles to the south. Terrysville also included a school in the 1920s and 1930s, located a quarter of a mile northwest. In 1987 only the cemetery remained.
