Westbrook
Westbrook is a rural community at the junction of Farm Road 2210 and State Highway 199 about seventeen miles southeast of Jacksboro in southeastern Jack County. The settlement began during the latter half of the nineteenth century, and the Westbrook Cemetery's earliest marked grave dates to 1875. The community was sometimes called Sartainsville, after an early family who arrived by the 1880s. Other pioneering families included the Dorseys, Newsoms, and Stewarts. Throughout the first half of the twentieth century the community had a school and a church. No population figures were available in 2000.
