Windemere

Windemere is a residential community located east of Interstate Highway 35 about thirteen miles northeast of downtown Austin and within two miles of Pflugerville in northern Travis County. This development began in the 1980s. In 1990 the population was 3,207. That figure increased to 6,868 in 2000. Windemere has a primary school and elementary school and is part of the Pflugerville Independent School District. The community also has a homeowners association.
